Prince George – SEIU Local 2 Branch 300 members at Prince George’s Pacific Western Brewing Company, which produces the iconic Cariboo Lager, ratified a 3-year Memorandum of Agreement on July 31st. The Agreement was approved with an 83% YES vote and has achieved major gains for the membership.
This $3,000 national scholarship was established by the CCOHS Council of Governors to inspire and encourage women across Canada to pursue careers in the occupational health and safety field. Applications must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31.
In a historic win for janitors in British Columbia, over 170 SEIU members at YVR ratified first collective agreement with significant improvements to working conditions.
